We know from experience that keeping kids warm is all about getting the layers right, and the base layer is vitally important when you’re in cold climates.
We’re about to take our first family ski trip in a couple of weeks and I know that the children will be very well looked after in these brilliant merino wool base layers from Kozi Kidz.
Merino wool is made from a special breed of sheep from Spain which are known to have the softest wool. Even if merino wool gets wet it still continues to keep people warm – it’s amazing stuff!
If you’re heading to cold climates don’t scrimp on quality. I learnt to my cost when I bought a cheap set of thermals for our trip to Lapland and just couldn’t keep warm.
I only learnt recently that cotton is the worst thing you can have next to your skin when temperatures drop.
So these merino sets are ideal for young skin as they are super soft and amazingly warm. They have a really great style too which is typical of all of Kozi Kidz products.
I love the Kozi Kidz philosophy which is all about allowing little ones to love to play outside whatever the weather. According to Kozi Kidz the Swedes say there is no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing!
Getting the layers right is something we are all making sure of this time around as we head to the slopes. I love that Kozi Kidz has every layer covered, from base, to mid and outer layers. It’s great to know that their range is always reliably warm, and super stylish.
