Bristol Airport is a wonderful place to fly from, we always find it to be friendly and with the new streamlined security in place it’s a pleasure to travel through. We were so pleased to fly from Bristol on our trip skiing in Flaine with Crystal Ski recently and with an early morning flight to Geneva we opted to stay on site at Bristol Airport at the Hampton by Hilton.
Staying on site at Bristol Airport at the Hampton by Hilton – hotel and location:
The Hampton by Hilton is at a great location, less than a 5 minute walk over to the terminal. It’s a nice sized hotel but doesn’t feel huge and has a really lovely feel as soon as you walk in to it.
There’s a car park out the front for you to have an hour of complimentary parking while you unpack and then if you’re parking up for a while you need to park up at one of the airport’s car parks.
Staying on site at Bristol Airport at the Hampton by Hilton – sleeps:
We stayed in two interconnecting rooms here which are always my favourite way to stay as it means there’s enough space for everyone to stretch out.
We had one double room with a sofa bed.
This room then interconnected to a twin bedroom.
Each room had really nice bathrooms with walk in showers.
There were large products in non disposable bottles which I love, great to not litter the world with lots of little plastic containers.
There was plenty of space for luggage and hanging clothes as well as a really good size desk area to sit.
There’s free wifi, a kettle with tea and coffee and a little alarm clock for you to plug in your phone. It was a really comfortable bed and we loved the space and style of the room.
Staying on site at Bristol Airport at the Hampton by Hilton – Food:
There’s a large restaurant on sire which we didn’t eat an evening meal at this time around but we did stop there for breakfast.
There’s a Continental selection from 4 – 6 and then a full hot breakfast from 6 – 10. Unfortunately our flight left too early for us to try the hot food but we did have the Continental spread which was great with pancakes available, lots of porridge pots, pastries, juices, cereals and fruit.
Staying on site at Bristol Airport at the Hampton by Hilton – The best bits:
It was great to be so close to the airport and know we could quickly and easily walk up and in to the main terminal in minutes which was so reassuring. We loved the space for families and found the beds so comfortable.
It’s definitely a hotel we will return to.
