With Star Wars Rogue One blasting the competition in the cinemas, we’ve loved having the chance to recreate some of the scenes from this new sci-fi epic in our homes with LEGO Krennic’s Imperial Shuttle 75156.
The latest sets in the Lego Star Wars range feature all the new characters and heroes from the film with a gang of rebels taking on an almost impossible mission to steal the plans for the empire’s latest weapon – the Death Star!
Trying to stop the daring rebels is the latest bad guy in the series – Director Krennic and LEGO have released an incredible recreation of his Imperial Shuttle.
With huge folding wings and armoured panels which lift up to reveal the all new Death Troopers this is a brilliantly intimidating set.
In total there are 863 pieces and it’s a fairly complex set to put together. It took our ten year old a couple of sittings to get the star ship into shape and as such it’s a nice challenging set, aimed at nine to 14 year olds.
There are a host of figures to play with including Director Krennic himself two of the Imperial Death Troopers along with Pao, Bodhi Rook and the new K-2SO droid.
Krennic’s Imperial Shuttle has thick-armor plating and once ready for take off you can lower the wings for flight mode to set off for another dangerous mission!
We really loved the moving parts on the ship with lots of hidden panels, a flight deck which fits a minifigure and a ramp for storage. The landing gear also retracts and the wings also raise, so there’s lots of interactive play on offer.
There’s also two spring loaded shooters which fire out re-loadable missiles, which come out at quite a speed so watch out!
The characters come with a number of different blasters and pistols too, and an epic battle for control of the Death Star plans is just around the corner.
LEGO Krennic’s Imperial Shuttle 75156 will delight Star Wars fans young and old. You can find out more here.
