Location – APEX hotels Bath
The APEX hotel in Bath is in a wonderful part of the city. It is situated right in the centre making it easy to wander out to see the sights.
It takes just minutes to walk out to destinations like the Roman Baths and the main shopping streets. If you’re looking for things to do in Bath with kids then the amazing Victoria Park Playground (the best in the city) is also within walking distance.
Despite being in the centre of the city this is a quiet location.
Sleeps
The family rooms at the APEX are perfect for those travelling with kids.
With two large double beds it’s the ideal space for four to enjoy a break away together.
The room felt large and was really comfortable. There was also a chair in the corner and a desk along one wall.
The bathroom was lovely with a large bath and separate shower. Like the bedroom it felt spacious and comfortable.
APEX city hotel Bath – Food
We ate in the restaurant each morning for breakfast and loved the choices.
There was a large selection of cereals, pastries, fruits, cheeses and juices you could help yourself to. There was also a hot menu which included Eggs Benedict, avocado on toast, pancakes and porridge.
We thought the food was of really high quality and it set us up for the day exploring the city.
The best bits
We thought the space the hotel offered for a family of four was fantastic and we loved the rooms.
The children adored the swimming pool on the ground level. With its jets and waterfalls this was a fun space for the kids to burn off any excess energy.
Worth bearing in mind?
The hotel doesn’t have its own parking – which is fairly common in the city. There is a public car par in easy walking distance.
What we thought of our stay at the APEX city of Bath hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable with lovely little interior touches. With a swimming pool to enjoy and a fantastic breakfast in the morning it’s one of our top picks for a Bath stay with kids.
