Alongside the fascinating museum, there’s an eerie basement experience where you can expect to be scared out of your wits and some excellently plotted escape room experiences including a ‘body in a suitcase’ which saw the whole Globalmouse family put to the test. Thanks to a few nudges from the brilliant staff we managed to solve the grisly mystery just in time.

The escape rooms are a real highlight and add an extra layer to the visit. If you’re travelling with older children or teenagers, this is a fantastic way to make the experience more interactive and memorable. The puzzles are cleverly designed and challenging without being frustrating, making them suitable for families as well as groups of friends.
