Veganuary is back and it is bigger and better than ever. There are some incredible products hitting the shelves with new vegan treats and plant based delights to enjoy and explore.
Alsongside the fabulous food and drink, there’s new footwear, accessories, skincare and so much more. The vegan revolution which is taking over the UK could not have come at a better time and I’m loving being able to pop into the supermarkets to try out the latest vegan dishes on offer.
This January its time try out something new and we’ve rounded up our favourite vegan delights in our best of Veganuary.

Joe & Seph’s vegan popcorn

The boutique popcorn brand Joe & Seph’s is already well known for its delicious offerings, all of which are handmade and have revolutionised the world of popcorn.
Now there’s a wonderful selection of vegan popcorn flavours being added to their range all of which are pretty outstanding.
In amongst their 80 different tastes on offer, there’s now the likes of the vegan salted caramel which achieves the perfect mix of sweet and salty, which recently picked up a great taste award, alongside the likes of vegan Coconut & Cacao popcorn which blends the flavours brilliantly creating something truly unexpected.
We also love their tasty Vegan Dark Chocolate popcorn which is ideal for lovers of rich flavours and our personal favourite is their award winning vegan Toffee Apple and Cinnamon popcorn which is devine.

Famed for their at-home DIY burger kits their vegan version is an absolute winner and allows you to create restaurant quality burgers in your kitchen.
Their DIY vegan burger kit includes four tasty plant based patties and brioche rolls, along with vegan cheese slices, pickles and their special seasoning pot. Also included are bottles of ketchup and american mustard and even illustrated greaseproof sheets to wrap your burgers in once they’re ready to be served.

We were both surprised and delivered by how good the burgers tasted and the kids thought they were some of the best vegan burgers they had eaten. Definitely worth seeking out for veganuary.

On our travels around the globe we’re always seeking out local dishes and drinks. The range from Agua de Madre is so reminiscent of some of the tastes we’ve found when exploring the world. This vegan drink is a fermented water kefir with Tibicos probiotic culture so it’s good for your gut and comes in five distinctly delicious flavours.
We particularly love their lemon and ginger and pomegranate and hibiscus which are super tasty and a big hit with the kids. Agua de Madre has been certified organic by the Soil Association and has already picked up a number of awards for their blends.
If you’re looking for a different drink this veganuary we think Agua de Madre with its naturally fermented sparkling fizz is something very special.
Cranes Cider vegan bundle

The team at Cranes Cider have created a brilliant bundle which will suit cider lovers who are enjoying the best of veganuary.
What’s great about Cranes is that they’ve pushed the flavours of their drinks to create some delicious takes on the classic cider. The bundle includes the likes of a lemon and kumquats cider made with fresh and ripe fruit, along with our favourite raspberries and pomegranates which is super sweet and tangy.
There’s classic premium apple cider included too, as well as blueberries and apple and cranberries and lime.
This bundle proves to us that cider’s not just a summery drink and with a premium Apple Low Alcohol Cider included too, there’s a chance to try out something a bit different which is still full of taste.

Plantastic Millionaire Flapjacks
These 100% plant based millionaire flapjacks are a fabulous treat for the end of the day. Made by Plantastic they include an oaty flapjack base topped with sweet caramel and a vegan chocolate glaze. Perfect for an indulgent snack. Available from Tesco and Sainsburys for £2.25.

We are big fans of baking in the Globalmouse house and we’ve found OGGS are brilliant for bringing vegan cakes to life as a great egg replacer. Now there’s scrambled OGGS which are whole new story which could be perfect for transforming your weekend breakfast.

We love these protein boost pots from Plantastic which makes veganuary even more enjoyable. They’re a great post-gym snack or lunch on the go and are 100% plant based. Each of the pots are packed with flavour and are protein rich.
Simply add water and enjoy the super tasty cajun rice with tomato and pepper, or the satay noodles with sweet red pepper. Kids will love the vegan bolognese pasta in a rich tomato sauce. A great tasty option for an easy veganuary treat.

This family run brewery was set up with a mission to create tasty alcohol free beers and have put together some fantastic brews to satisfy those who prefer their beers no or low alcohol.
Their Bavarian Helles Lager is a world beers award winner and is brewed to classic Bavarian traditions. This flagship golden lager is vegan and has great crisp biscuity notes.
Two Nirvana brewery ales of note for veganuary are their Hoppy Pale Ale and Organic Pale Ale which are packed with just the right bright bitter flavours and are only 30 calories each in the 330ml bottles.

Jimmy’s Oat Iced Coffee

We think this might be one of our favourite finds of this year’s veganuary offerings. Jimmy’s Oat Iced Coffee is ready to drink from its classic styled BottleCan which is both resealable and recyclable too.
Jimmy’s produce a great range of iced coffees and this vegan option is spot on when it comes to flavour if you love your coffee. The drink is made with an oat base and a single-origin rainforest alliance arabica coffee which manages to deliver just the right taste.
This family owned business ethically sources its products and this pick up and go aluminium bottle is great any time of the day. We’re mightily impressed.
Drink me Chai Vegan Chai Latte

This new Vegan Chai Latte from Drink me Chai is a first for us and we’ve been delighted to discover it. It’s blended from natural spices and is gluten-free too. The vegan recipe includes soya milk in its blend so you can simply add water and enjoy.
This vegan chai is a spot on replica for those sold in trendy coffee shops and is a great drink to enjoy at home with friends or if you just feel like curling up in front of your favourite TV show. Perfect hot or iced!
Remedy Drinks
The team at Remedy drinks have created some brilliant sparkling soft drinks which are perfect to try for veganuary. Their Remedy Kombucha Mixed Case is a brilliant example of some of the wonderfully blended flavours and my kids have become huge fans! Their mixed case include twelve cans ranging from Remedy Kombucha Apple Crisp as well as Ginger Lemon, Raspberry Lemonade and an oh-so-delicious Cherry Plum.
Their delicious sparkling drinks are made using a traditional small-batch, long-aged brewing processes, and are packed with flavour as a result.
Not only are they vegan but they’re gluten-free, fructose-free, paleo-friendly and HALAL certified. We love that they’re packed with antioxidants and organic acids which can support gut health too. Available at their website here.
LILK
We’re quite picky about our non-milk drinks in our house, with our favourite soya, oat and rice milks taking up the prime spots in our cupboard. In the spirit of trying something new we’re adding Lilk to our faves. This new vegan blended plant milk scored really well with us on taste. Lilk is unsweetened and contains no soy or nuts and comes in two different blends, common and lush.
We loved adding the Common blend to our regular tea and coffees and it really works well with morning cereals at breakfast. The Lush blend which includes oat, coconut, and quinoa is perfect for a luxurious vegan hot chocolate or to add to any vegan bakes you might be working on. It’s available from Ocado and direct from Lilk themselves.
Vegan Gola Classics
Gola have been a favourite in the UK since their heyday in the 1970s when the likes of tennis legend Mark Cox inspired a generation to pull on their own Golas and they’re looking as good as ever, with the added benefit of having a whole range of vegan footwear.
We really adore the Vegan Gola Classics Women’s Tennis Mark Cox Trainers (£55 from Gola) which are based on a design from 1975 which captures the tennis spirit and style of the decade. Available in a variety of colours we love the little touches on these vegan Golas including the gold branding on the tongue and heel of the shoe.
Also making a return in Gola’s vegan range are their iconic trainers which made their first appearance a year later. These brilliant classic women’s coasters (£30 from Gola) are so comfortable and look great dressing down in jeans and t-shirt, going on a walk or simply for being out and about.
The retro plimsolls feature the classic rubber toe cap, Gola branding and metal eyelets. Gola are proving once again they’re very much in tune with modern trends, especially with their vegan footwear credentials.
Rollagranola
We’ve loved discovering new foods and tastes as part of veganuary and that’s not just been limited to conjuring up vegan delights for main meals, it’s been part of our breakfast routine too. Inspired by the granolas in the US, Rollagranola (available here – https://rollagranola.com/collections/granola) has become a success story here in the UK with a host of creative granolas packed with natural ingredients.
Our family favourite has become the Keto Caveman Granola which is great on its own, or added to vegan yoghurts. It’s low carb and suitable for vegans and those on a Keto diet, and thanks to its ingredients which include apple, raspberry, coconut and pumpkin seeds alongside a host of nuts including brazils and almonds it’s packed with flavour is a great energy boost at the start of the day.
It’s great to know that it is gluten free and has no refined sugar. We’ve also become fans of their Almond and Pecan Crunch Granola and their Organic and Nutty Granola which are low on sugar and packed with tasty ingredients. They’re handmade in the UK using 100% natural ingredients and taste great with dairy-free alternatives to milk, to kick start your vegan day.
