Getting to Disneyland Paris from London couldn’t be easier. There is a Eurostar to Disneyland Paris train that takes you straight to the door. When I started planning a trip there and discovered we could go on the Eurostar to Disney I hadn’t realised was quite how direct it would be. I assumed that once you arrived there would probably be a shuttle bus or even a metro to take from the station. But the terminal is right on the doorstep of the gates to the land of the famous mouse. Having now taken the trip I honestly don’t know why you would go by any other means than taking the train to Disneyland Paris from London.

I was so excited when I realised that there was a train from London to Paris Disneyland. I immediately started to plan a trip.
There are daily returns and you can get there in under three hours which makes it an ideal way to travel.
We boarded the Disneyland Paris Eurostar at St Pancras. This is a beautiful station full of amazing art and sculptures.
My favourites being ‘The Meeting Place’ by Paul Day and this one, ‘The Betjeman Statue’ by Martin Jennings.
It’s a great station and full of restaurants and shops. We picked up sandwiches and snacks for the journey from outside the Eurostar check-in desks.
Taking the Eurostar to Disneyland Paris – checking in
You can get the Disneyland train from Ebbsfleet and Ashford International too.
The check-in could not have been easier or quicker. Through customs and passport control in record time and with none of the restrictions of taking any of our bottles of water or toothpaste etc through.
There are also no extra charges for baggage as there are when you fly. It’s straight on with your bag and as long as you can carry it you’re on.
Once through customs, there is a large lounge with a cafe and a couple of shops. You need to be there 30 minutes before the train departs and about ten minutes before that you can go up to board the train and into the pre-reserved seats.

So no massive rush to try and find somewhere to sit.
We found the seats really comfortable with enough room to relax.
We had a table between us all and the five of us all sat together (under fours are free but don’t get their own seat}.
The train whizzes under the tunnel and through the French countryside. It’s surreal to suddenly find yourself in France so quickly.
There’s a great buffet car on board and there are also magazines to look through.
Then within no time, you’re being dropped at the door of Disneyland Paris.
The London to Disneyland Paris train really is an amazing trip with great service and by far the quickest and most straightforward way to get yourself to the park.
We were off the train, out the door and wandering into Disney in about five minutes flat.
Eurostar’s premier service – Taking the Eurostar to Disneyland Paris
On the journey home, we were treated to Eurostar’s premier service which comes with slightly bigger seats and more space to relax.
You also get a lovely meal complete with drinks. It’s the perfect way to unwind at the end of the long trip.
We love Eurostar and they’re such a great choice for families. With the ability to get up and wander around and pass the time much easier than on a plane.
And the speed of getting on and off is so much faster not to mention it is a much better environmental choice.

I went on the Eurostar last year (though sadly not to Disney) its such a nice way to travel.
There was a time when I felt I practically lived on Eurostar – I lived in Paris but worked in London! Then I moved out of Paris to the suburbs near Disneyland and started using Eurostar from there, so I feel I know it very well, if not to actually visit Disneyland! I love train travel and in situations like this would choose it over flying anyday!
We went to Disney on Eurostar twice and it is the most pain free journey with the kids, although they did ask why they couldn’t see any fish lol
I had no idea it went direct! Definitely going to take a look now. It will be the perfect holiday for my little one. Train and Disney – perfect!
