Our family trips to Florida are some of our favourite. Real family fun and a chance to enjoy the sunshine and all the variety of activities. On our October family holiday to Orlando we stayed at the Endless Summer Resort which is part of Universal’s on-site accommodation offerings. This is our review of what we really thought about a stay at the Endless Summer Resort – Surfside.

Endless Summer Resort location

The Endless Summer Resort is set just outside of the main Universal parks. They are connected by a bus which runs every ten minutes and takes about ten minutes.
There are car parks if you are arriving by car.
As well as all of the offerings at Universal Orlando Resort there are also lots of restaurants and shops around the resort. It’s a really good location.
Staying at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort

There are a couple of different rooms available at the hotel.
We stayed in one of their suites which overlook the swimming pool.
There was a main bedroom with Queen size bed. Then in the main room two Queen beds which were perfect for the children.
There was also a small kitchen area with microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Alongside this is a bench style table to eat at.
There was a sink area leading through to a bathroom with a loo, bath and shower over. We loved the products which include conditioner.
The whole resort had a lovely seaside, surf theme. The surfboard alongside the mirror was very cool.
There was plenty of space to relax in the evenings after our days spent out at the parks.

The resort

The resort had a lovely holiday feel which was somewhere to relax in its own right.
At the centre was a large fish shaped swimming pool which had lifeguards keeping watch. There was also a bar area here to pick up drinks. Complimentary towels were available.
There were also other areas to enjoy including a table tennis game.
The lobby was bright and airy and fun to hang out in. Here there was also a Starbucks to pick up drinks and cakes.

Within the complex was a Universal shop to pick up items from the parks as well as branded hotel merchandise.
The Food

We didn’t eat in the resort but there is Beach Break Cafe which has a buffet style breakfast available. There is a Starbucks in the lobby too.
You can also order pizza to the room at a really good price.

We really enjoyed our stay at Endless Summer Resort. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay.
It was wonderful to be able to catch the bus into the parks with ease and start the day the right way. It was also nice to be able to come back and relax by the pool.
