- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 7g sachet fast-action yeast
- 150ml warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For our super easy pizza twists toppings:
- 3 tbsp tomato purée
- 100g grated mozzarella cheese

- A handful of grated cheddar (optional, for extra flavour)
- A handful of sweetcorn (optional – pat dry)
- A handful of slices of vegan pepperoni (optional, for extra flavour)

How to make our super easy pizza twists recipe
- Prepare the dough:
In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast together.
Make a well in the centre and pour in the warm water and olive oil.
Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a tea towel, and leave to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size. - Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) / Gas Mark 6. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. - Roll out and assemble:
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a large rectangle, about 5mm thick.
Spread the tomato purée evenly over the surface, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the grated mozzarella and cheddar or other toppings (if using) on top, followed by the oregano. - Shape the twists:
Fold the dough in half lengthwise so the filling is sandwiched in between.
Cut the folded dough into 1.5cm wide strips. Hold each strip by the ends and twist them a few times.
Place the twists onto the prepared baking tray, spacing them out slightly. - Bake the twists:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. - Serve and enjoy:
Allow the twists to cool slightly before serving. Perfect for snacks, lunchboxes, or as a party treat!
